Powertrain
Forklifts should be tough enough to last for hours of use in numerous extreme environments. While being ergonomic for operators, these machines need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast. The dependable, rugged Yale powertrain provides superior durability through its state of the art clutch packs, computer controlled transmission and engine and extremely strong shafts and gears. The engine, transmission, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated in order to reduce noise and vibration inside the compartment of the operator.
Electrical
The electrical system of the lift truck is responsible for linking the truck's major nerve centers. Hence, the electrical system in the lift truck must be dependable and durable for the most demanding wet/dry and hot/cold operations. There is much sophistication needed in order to control truck functionality.
Delivering reliable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system uses digital technology and reduces electrical connections and reduces wiring as well. This results in improved dependability and awesome serviceability.
Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the "muscles" of the forklift. They give the necessary force required to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic parts. Several of these components consist of: heavy-duty hydraulic valves, leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders, and fine micron filters. The control valve has been strategically positioned so as to prolong component life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
Yale's diesel forklifts provide extreme reliability and are known for withstanding harsh working situations and coming out on top. These machines have been built in such a precise way that attention to detail has been taken into account in order to keep the operator as comfortable as possible.
