Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck providing versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the cargo away from and towards the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is necessary.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift will normally use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is handy for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A lift platform that is meant to hoist staff is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a chain or strap is utilized to attach the basket to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
